If you want your kids in the Knox County School system they will be attending Rocky Hill for elementary. After elementary, they will be attending Bearden Middle then onto West High. The tudor revival style Waterwheel and Gatepost welcomes all visitors. This was built in 1923 by the area’s earliest property owners. The purpose of it was to provide water and electricity in the neighborhood. It is currently in the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. There are plenty of historic homes in this community, particularly along Sherwood Drive and Stone Mill Road in Westmoreland Heights.
